Logitech MX Air with Hand Gestures

The new rechargeble MX rechargeable MX Air sports 2.4 GHz wireless technology with 30 feet of operating range. When placed on a desk, the MX Air uses laser tracking technology to precisely track movements. It functions no differently than other mice on solid surfaces.

The mouse was designed to resemble a living room device and not a computer peripheral. In the air, its contoured shape enables users to hold it like a remote control—fingers underneath the mouse with the thumb on top for button selection. In-air navigation is governed by what is called "Freespace motion control," which combines three separate technologies to determine which way is up, disregarding how or where you point the mouse, and it can weed out unintentional hand shaking to maintain a steady cursor. Also, holding down a button and performing certain mouse gestures like a clockwise circle will execute different multimedia commands, such as skip track or modify volume.
